Carbon Sequestration Partner Initiates CO2 Injection into Michigan Basin
Tapping into a saline formation some 3,200 to 3,500 feet below the earth's surface, a DOE team of regional partners has initiated the injection of up to 10,000 metric tons of CO2 to assess the formation's ability to store the greenhouse gas.
