Federal Lands Analysis, Natural Gas Assessment, Southern Wyoming and Northwestern Colorado


The Greater Green River Basin Study

The Department of Energy's Greater Green River Basin study is part of a larger planned project to analyze natural gas resources under Federal lands in the Rocky Mountain Region. This basin was chosen as the first to be studied because it contains the largest amount of estimated technically recoverable natural gas resource in the region.

The study has produced several products that are likely to of value to landowners and natural gas producers operating in the Basin. The following are available for downloading [click on filename to download]:
